Elite Stealth Unit of Job Seekers Outmaneuvered by Malaysian Army at Sungai Golok

KOTA BARU: A squad of elite, highly motivated foreign “career climbers” saw their dreams temporarily dashed when the Malaysian Army thwarted their river-crossing expedition at Sungai Golok on March 19.
The 2nd Infantry Division reported that a team patrolling the Eighth Infantry Brigade’s sector intercepted a boat packed with five individuals, all determined to level up their employment status. However, in a dramatic twist, the boat’s captain executed an emergency extraction maneuver—otherwise known as jumping into the river and paddling like a lunatic back to Thailand.
The four remaining “business professionals” admitted to funding their ambitious relocation project by paying an agent in Thailand. If successful, they were to be promoted to "Transporters" responsible for guiding future recruits into the workforce pipeline.
During the arrest, authorities discovered a haul of contraband—mobile phones, multi-national currencies, and personal items totaling RM7,555, which, in a plot twist, exceeded the average local salary. The detainees are now awaiting their next career move under the guidance of Malaysian authorities.
